Newly created position, where you will be responsible for starting up a major production unit in connection with the transformation of a successful development company

Stillingsbeskrivelse:
You will refer to the responsible for the company in Denmark on a daily basis, with whom you will also have a close dialogue. In this newly created position you will be responsible for the company´s production department that faces a significant upscaling.

The company will grow from a well-run development company with a smaller production unit of 10 to 12 people to being a factory with up to 60 operators on shift work.

You will be responsible for the initiation and implementation of the structure of the production unit. You will be assisted in the daily work by an experienced colleague, who will be in charge until you start. As the workload rises the department will be able to hire the necessary resources to maintain the daily work.

In both the structural phase and on the long term, it is expected, that you will be a visible and involved leader that does not mind taking the lead and include, motivate and engage. You will secure the employees well-being and personal development and actively contribute to the daily solution of various technical problems, often in close co-operation with the development department.

You will become project manager on a number of projects that you will lead and contribute to the solution of. In that regard, it would be very much appreciated that you independently can finish the projects, along with offering new ideas and initiatives.

You are very involved in the continuing development and optimization of the production unit based on your good experiences in this area and will also be responsible for the planning and execution of preventative maintenance and the ongoing optimization of processes and equipment.

The assignment you are facing is exciting but also demanding, where you greatly can influence the agenda, on how things are structured for them to be optimal, when the production is scaled up and running. However, you must keep in mind that the owners in China, will have a big influence on the decisions that are made in Denmark.

Erhvervserfaring:
You have experience from a similar position in the process industry, where you have had the responsibility for a major production department. Therefore, you have firm knowledge of production management, production planning, process optimization, quality control and not least the management of a large team of shift employees. It is of course of great advantage, if you have previous knowledge of the structuring of a production

Uddannelser:
You have a background as an engineer, which you have supplemented with management training.

Sprogkunder / EDB:
You are fluent in English, both written and oral and an experienced user of IT. It is an advantage if you can communicate in Chinese.
