Responsible for design of high-frequency ASICs for integration in optical receiver (ROSA) and transmitter (TOSA) modules
Stillingsbeskrivelse:
You will be part of a team that has developed and patented a Optical Receiver which increases reach and capacity in fiberoptic networks. The high-speed radio-frequency ASIC it a key part pf the solution. The receiver is well renowned for it’s unique capabilities at data rates of 25 Gbps, and now the challenges are scale-up from prototype as well as the development of 50 Gbps and 100 Gbps solutions.
As an experienced RF ASIC designer with deep knowledge and understanding of signal integrity above 100 GHz, you will play in important role in these developments. Your tasks will include:
1) Development of high-speed (>100 Gbps) analog signal processing ASICs and transimpedance amplifiers
2) Signal integrity analysis and 3D RF design of pachaging, flex-PCB transmission line PCBs etc.
3) Integration of the RF ASIC into the optical package
4) Tests and analysis of test results
5) Responibility for various documentation material, BOM, drawings, contact to chip foundries, revision control and tracking of design changes.
5) You will work closely together with your colleagues internally inthe organization as well as externally with customers and partners.

Erhvervserfaring:
You will be working closely alongside a senior RF designer, so although experience is a plus, we encourage you to apply even if you have recently graduated.
Uddannelser:
You have an educational background as M.Sc eller Ph.d. in engineering, physics or other relevant field.
Sprogkunder / EDB:
You are fluent in English (spoken and written), and you are experienced user of Cadence, Keysight ADS, or similar tools.

In a plug and play cost effective solution customers can upgrade the DWDM links from 10G to 25G with reach up to 40 km in Fronthaul applications and up to 60 km in Metro-ring networks. In addition, we are working currently developing 50 Gbps and 100 Gbps solutions based on a higher level of photonics- and electronic integration and co-packaging.
Bifrost has gained significant customer tracktion on its first generation receivers and have obtained Grant and Funding from the EIC accelerator and other investors to substantially pursue upscaling of development and production of its next generation products. The company is managed by experienced entrepreneurs with successful track records from similar start ups in the optical and opto-electronic space.
