Stillingsbeskrivelse:
You will be the Team Leader of the Equipment Engineering Team under the Technical department in Production and the team currently consist of an Equipment Engineer and an Equipment Engineer Technician.

The Equipment Engineering Team covers routine service and maintenance and follow the daily operation to be able to respond fast to emerging issues instead of being depending on the supplier’s Field Service Engineers. Sometimes the Equipment Engineering Team cannot internally solve the emerging issues and come up with a solution but in those cases, they have the options of pulling in other colleagues that are process and equipment specialist or even call for external Field Service Engineers support.

As Team Leader, it is your responsibility to ensure high performance of the equipment and solve emerging issues effectively together with your team and other colleagues. You will coordinate and prioritize the work of the team and report machine status and problem solving progress to management.

The performance evaluation depend on your cooperation skills and hereunder: Flexibility, responsibility, reliability, commitment and feedback, and you are expected to have a deep interest and experience of ensuring highest possible performance of high technology equipment in production environment. It concerns managing and doing service and maintenance of the entire production machine fleet containing ultra-precision CNC machines together with your team and handling of emerging issues that sometimes involve a complicated troubleshooting process – all this happens in a fast paced environment with rapidly changing priorities.
The production machines must operate at the edge of their specification to obtain the required standard of our mold products that lies within the nanometer scale – 1/1000 of a micrometer and 1/1.000.000 of a millimeter!

The first period of the job will cover a 4 week “Service Engineer – course” in the US at the supplier of our ultra-precision CNC machines to achieve a solid foundation of knowledge of the machines. The training course is similar to the one that their own Field Service Engineer go through after hiring. Along with that, you will get an internal introduction followed by a more detailed training program.

Erhvervserfaring:
You have proven team leadership experiences and your key competences or knowledge lies within:

• Management experience and stake holder management

• Adhere to and meet strict production/repair schedules through team and personal time management, planning of tasks, coordinating any necessary support resources, parts/equipment availability,
etc.
• Accurate documentation files pertaining to all aspects of service activity.
• Experience with interpretation of electrical diagrams.
• Experience on PID controller and tuning.
• Experience in all forms of electrical/mechanical assembly, diagnosis, troubleshooting, machine operation, programming, maintenance and repair.

Uddannelser:
In order to succeed you need to have a degree at BSc level in relevant engineering disciplines such as Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineer, Technology Management and Marine Engineering or similar. Alternatively, an associate degree in electro/mechanical technology or equivalent job experience. We are however open for other professional approaches to this position.
