With deep interest and experience on service, maintenance and development of electro/mechanical equipment and facility

Stillingsbeskrivelse:
The company will throughout 2018 expand its production capacity and therefore it is time to have its own dedicated Service Engineer that knows the daily operation and is capable of responding fast instead of being depending on the supplier’s Field Service Engineers.

After a thorough “Service engineer – training course” in the US at our supplier of the ultra-precision CNC machines you will be responsible for setup and installation of new grinding machines in the production at Kaleido Technology and ensure that the facility requirements are met.

The CNC machines are used in the production of mold tools with tight tolerances within the nanometer range (1/1000 of a micrometer). Hence, they are very much depending on the surroundings to have optimal performance. It is your responsibility to ensure high performance of the equipment by performing service, maintenance and optimization of the surrounding facilities of the machine.

You will be responsible for training of R&D Engineers regarding machine operation and being involved in various facility development projects that relates to the performance of the machines, and hereby the production.

• Experience with interpretation of electrical – and plumbing diagrams.
• Extensive experience in all forms of electrical/mechanical assembly, diagnosis, troubleshooting, machine operation, programming, maintenance and repair.
• Compile and maintain centrally (server) located, accurate documentation files pertaining to all aspects of service activity.
• Provide basic training to relevant colleagues relating to machine operation,
• Ensure that best practices are observed and utilized for electrical and general safety requirements.
• Adhere to and meet strict production/repair schedules through personal time management, planning of tasks, coordinating any necessary support resources, parts/equipment availability, etc.

Du tilbydes:
The first period of the job will cover a 3 weeks “Service Engineer – training course” in the US at the supplier of our ultra-precision CNC machines to achieve the best basis for fulfilling the position. The training course is similar to the one that their own Field Service Engineer go through after hiring.

Løn:
You get a fixed salary that corresponds to your qualifications.

Uddannelser:
In order to succeed we expect you to have a degree at BSc or MSc in relevant engineering disciplines such as Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineer, Technology Management and Marine Engineering or similar. Alternatively, an associate degree in electro/mechanical technology or equivalent job experience. We are however open for other professional approaches to this position.
